Accurate Lighting

I’d been planning on using Accurate Lightings ditch lights and forward and reverse light kits for my HO scale GP40-2 project (http://people.umass.edu/cslemp/introduction.htm), however, it looks like they are no longer being produced. Walthers has very few Accurate Lighting products in stock, and my LHS can’t order any either. I’m not sure where else to look.

Does anybody know this company’s status? They still have a website (http://www.accuratelighting.com/), but it isn’t particularily helpful.

Assuming they are on their way out, does anyone have any suggestions for creating working ditch lights and headlights? I’m not sure what size bulbs to get, or how they would need to be wired. I plan on using DCC so anything I get would need to be compatible with that.

Accurate Lighting products occupy 2 pages of the 2006 Walthers HO scale catalog, so it’s doubtful that they are going out of business. Walthers is always out of stock on many items that appear in their printed catalogs and online. I currently have backorders with Walthers on several Cornerstone structures that they announced last year but are not yet available.

Yeah, I know they are in the catalog. But on the Walthers website, a search for Accurate Lighting returns only a few items (none of which are useful to me) and all of them say “Discontinued when sold out.”
