I would like to get a map, preferably online, however it’s not a necessity - but helpfull - which shows the entire route from Arcade to Attica, including sidings, there lengths and types of industries? Asking for too much? I figure that would be a likely starting point?
I would appreciate any and all help on this matter. In advance Thank You!

You should be able to get photocopies of the Trains and Model Railroader articles from Customer Sevice at http://www.modelrailroader.com. And, you can get photocopies of the Bulletin articles from http://www.nmra.org/library/. Other possible sources include local Chambers of Commerce, local historical societies, railroad atlases for the ARA’s era, and Coast & Geodetic Survey quadrangle maps.
And, if you haven’t already done so, try a “Google” search.

Glad I could be of some help. We’re all children of Abraham.

The Maptech site has the other quads for Arcade, as well as for Attica and the other towns along the line. By the way, if you make a field trip to establish “ground truth” and to visit the historical society, you can get an excellent meal at the Glen Iris Inn in nearby Letchworth State Park (It’s just north of Portageville at the southern entry to the park).
Don’t know what the current quadrangle maps show, but we used to buy our quadrangles at hunting goods stores such as ***'s, although they are available elsewhere.

Scroll down to the ARA and check the dates of the photos, if you’re looking for equipment before it became a tourist railroad. I haven’t looked, but you may be able to educe some of the industries by examining the background of the photos.
And, finally, if you haven’t checked satellite imagery, go to the TerraServer.com site to see what they have:

Their images give the date they were captured, and, depending on the resolution, you might be able to detect abandoned roadbed.
