I have seen many pictures showing Amtrak trains with two AEM7’s pulling them. Example was the farewell to the AEM7’s train. Does Amtrak still need to doublehead trains with Sprinters?

Sprinters accelerate faster than the AEM7’s, I have no idea as to pulling power though.

The ACS-64s are stronger, and thus the doubleheading is no longer required. It wasn’t with the HHP-8s, either.
