A easy way to add detail to your round house, turntable, water towers, gantry crane, filling station, other biulding etc. is to add ladders.
I use N gauge straight track section for 0 scale ladders. I get them for $1.50 for six 4 1/2 inch sections and GATS or hobby shops. I take a pliers and twist the rails off and use an Xacto knife to cut out every other tie. This gives a 1/4 inch gap which is 1 foot scale, the distance between rungs on 0 scale ladders.
