Why would UP fan be offended?? I think it was rather nice that the Route Rock crews would offer to pu***hat broken down UP unit back to the roundhouse for repairs![swg][:-,][;)][(-D][swg][:-,][;)][(-D]

SCD stands for Silver Creek Division. I guess it’s rather generic but SCD is also the first letter of each of my three kids. Soon there will be a gig boy with a big R on the tender.[:D]

I tell you what …THAT is a hell of a good paint job on those ROCK ISLAND locomotives!/BNSFfan.

Beautiful layout! I really like your scenery.
Paint job on those locomotives is “Top Notch!” Did you use Acrylics or Solvent paints?

Your pictures are really encouraging for me to keep pushing and build my layout sooner than planned!

looked at the pictures, and sure it is not for UP fans,

they may get arrogant as the see that an old [|(] UP locomotive is pulling those modern age diesels ![:-,]

btw:[:o)] I see you still did not wash off the stains on the UP traction parked in engine terminal!! [:D][:D][:D]

Hmm, I’m not offened in any way, that Big Boy was cool! So was that Dash9 pushing it. Nice job on the Rock Island paint schemes. How big is your layout?

Thanks for the props. Now I need to let the swelling in my head go down before I can go back in the train room.[:o)] The layout is 4X9 with two extensions for the locomotive and freight yards. I takes up roughly 9X9 feet. As far as the paint I use Badgers Model Flex paint. It dries super fast and covers very well and is water based acrylic. I never mean offense to UP fans it’s all I see as I live next to the 2 track mainline in Iowa. Thanks again for the props.
