Adding TMCC to 622 Switcher

ok Roland I found these pics of when I was upgrading the 622 switcher.

Like I said after I installed the kit from TAS I had problems and after shipping the whole unit to TAS found out that the original motor field housing was bad and it was drawing around 10 amps which was more than the boards are rated for.

Well they were able to repair the motor and all is working fine.

testing the electrocouplers

This is good. I’ve done several with motors like that one with boards from Digital Dynamics. Always worked great. If I have a problem, I will know one thing to look for in trouble shooting. Thanks for passing this on to us.

Ray,

Very awesome. Thanks for posting! So I guess the Bell doesn’t make it if you’re doin TMCC. That’s my dream switcher…PW Pullmor with electro couplers, (Delete the sliding shoes right?) I’ll have to look for one…Maybe a fixer upper. Doesn’t even need a good e-unit.

COOL! Great photos! [tup][tup]
