Adding woking Web sites to Post's.

Since joining this fourm a few day’s ago I have noticed user’s adding websites to postings that either don’t work or are no longer available. The methoud I use is www.web-site.com there are many ways to do this THAT I don’t know. But what I do know is one correct way of doing it. Anyone want share how they correctly add site’s please do so…

I copy the address you see @ the top of most windows.

This was copies then pasted

http://cs.trains.com/TRCCS/forums/t/206867.aspx

It should bring you into a new window but will be this page.

Lets try a page from USA’s web site.

I have this site in one window and usa"s in anothernwindow.

I use Google Chrome as my primary web browser and have been unable to figure out any way to make a link active. When I need to do that, I have to revert to Internet Explorer.

Even with Google Chrome, the copy and paste method should work. I know it doesn’t display the “http” part in the address bar, but when you copy it and paste it, the paste will contain “http”. I use Chrome, so here’s an example:

The address bar displays this: www.usatrains.com/index.html

But when I copy it and paste it here this is what I get: http://www.usatrains.com/index.html
