What is the best glue to use for installing the windows in n scale buildings?

For the window frames or the glazing?
For the frames, what ever plastic cement strikes your fancy. I like Tenax 7R.
For the glazing, I use Testors Clear Parts Cement. If the frames already have the glazing in them, I usually use the Clear Parts Cement.

Personally, I like either Micro Crystal clear if the part just lays flat on it’s base or Devcon 5 minute epoxy if the part goes around a curve such as a turret or something. The epoxy is a bit harder to work with, but it holds better.
If the layout is permanent I have used a tiny tiny bit of white glue to hold the glass in place. This prevents hazing and holds well enough even on plastic. Hope that helps:)
Just use enough to barely ‘wet’ the edges. Use a toothpick or such thing.
