OK guys, enough of the PM stuff. How 'bout a little info on the road. Did it close with acrimony all around or is legal action pending? Or what gives?

The Adrian and Blissfield is still very much in business. Especially with the addition of the new Ethanol Plant located between Blissfiled and Riga. Business in Adrian is also up. They switch the scrap yard behind the engine house and do a couple of industries on the west side of town near the end of track. I believe they are still looking to addition of a bio-diesel plant that is in the works on the west side of town. They still interchgange with the I&O at Riga and also interchange with the NS in Adrian. On ocassion they have received grain trains from the NS in Adrian.
According to the Adrian Daily Telegram, the A&B is planning a new station in Blissfiled on the site of their present station that serves the dinner train.
Their other operations throughout the state seem to be going well also.

I have seen they were looking for engineers and conductors as well. How good of a place is it to work?
I can tell you if you work for them you are not supposed to post about the going on’s of the rr. I did work them and enjoyed it, I now work for the old Camas Prairie in Idaho.
Now that you don’t work for them anymore, can you talk about the going on’s?
I dont know their schedule anymore.
pmsteamman, I heard a rumor that ADBF is going to paint 1758 like 1751, 1752 and 1760. Is that true? And what will a fourth locomotive be needed for? Are they expecting to get more work?
Have painted the first three, I can say it is a lot of work!! They may need a fourth loco for the “just in case” factor.
Do they paint the loco’s in the engine house in Adrian or do they send them out somewhere else to get painted? If they do send them out, where do they send them?
Adrian
That’s cool. How long does that usually take?
