This afternoon I was trying to look up my subscription status. I logged in and was looking for Customer Service. Before I could click on it, the home page is replaced by a full page ad: “Best Rate! Get 50% Off Subscribe and Save”

There is no way to back out of the ad. Just Alt-F4 to cancel the page and try again. After a few times you know where Customer Service is so you can click on it before ad pops up. I am already a subsciber so I do not need annoying ads trying to get me to save 50%!

I know you need subscribers, but why antagonize current subscribers?

Just click the little x at the top right corner of the ad to close it. The same works for pop up ads on a lot of sites.
