Advice on an N scale Track Plan

Hi!
I’m currently working on a 1x6 n scale shelf layout loosely based on the Maine Centrals Rockland Branch. While it’s basically impossible to come close to the prototype in such a small space, I’m still trying to have a track plan that keeps the Maine Wharf feel with its piers and wood structures, but is also fun and challenging to operate. While I have enjoyed working with track plans, it is hard to tell if it’s actually going to operate well in practice. The track plan attached depicts a couple of industries the MEC actually had in its Rockland branch but also a few added bits like the car float that I added that I could use as a fiddle yard. I’d like to do something with street running on the upper line that switches to the team track as well. I’m wondering if this will actually be fun to operate or if there is something glaring that I am missing in my designs? Any suggestions or advice would be more than welcome.

I find it easier to physically lay out your track design and go from there. You might make some minor adjustments.

That looks like a nice plan. I’m looking forwards to seeing where you go from there!

I am using Anyrail to design my layout and it will export to Trainplayer where I can run trains on it to test switching etc

Rockland always was fun to visit. The Fisher Plow facility always got me, they had piles of plows in the yard with no gates or fence.
I like fun stuff on my layout to seeif anyone is paying attention, would be fun to model the Fisher Facility and put a plow truck in the scene with a Western plow on it.
