No such thing as African-American. Last time I checked it wasn’t possible to be born in two places simultaneously! American or not.

Braden apparently you do not realize the role African Americans have been a part of building the railroads and this country. I am proud of the work my ancestors have put in to build this country and even more proud to continue to work in this industry. One can be American and still take pride in their ethnic roots. As far as I have observed others have proudly stated their ethnic backgrounds, Italian, German, and Polish to state a few with the many parades in Chicago. So allow everyone to take pride in their part of history.
