Wow! Will the FRA Loons, and the STB Loons require me to change the reporting marks on my HO models? That could be a lot of time and $$$. What will “Mr. & Mr./Ms. & Ms. Iowa” do in retaliation? Change the name of Davenport to “Fouton”, or even “Sofa”, or “Couch”? Pret’ scary, methinks. Burlington, VT is doing something similar, but I think they are serious! “It’s the only one that sounds that way, on the Atcheson, Google and Santa Fe” does have a nice ring to it. “Chicago, Burlington and Medical Examiner” is a stretch, but, in Iowa “thar be loons”! “Cedar Rapids & Loon City” might work, with a little brush stroke… “Google Rapids & Iowa City” doesn’t ring true, but, again, just a little brush stroke GRANDIC might appeal to the voters. Time will tell.
