Hey y’all, long time no talk.
Just a quick question. I have my grandfather’s AHM GG1 with a bad motor. The part number is P-270-012-0655 “Motor with bracket.” I cannot seem to locate one of this number, but have found similar looking motors.
Does anyone know of any other AHM / Rivarossi motors that would be compatible with the GG1’s?
Unfortunately, the motors used in Rivarossi’s direct truck mountings were very specific, and I don’t think they’re interchangable. I see Rivarossi motors coming up on eBay all the time, so if you check there every few days or so, you should find the right one eventually.
By the way, what about the motor is bad? Worn brushes? Tight running?
