air brake pipe rigging diagrams

Can anyone lead me to a site that might have air brake piping for rail cars.

Your help is much appreciated!

Buy a Cal Scale brake castings kit. It includes a piping and rigging diagram.

Hello, Take a look at http://www.psrm.org/faqs/brakes/5062/ab_brakes.html, especially the “Plate 10” illustration. This covers the AB brake system required on new cars beginning in 1933. The newer ABD and ABDW systems have improved control valves but use the same piping arrangement as the AB system. Many of today’s cars, especially tank cars, use truck-mounted brake cylinders with integral brake beams like the Wabcopac. You’ll find illustrations of this at http://techinfo.wabtec.com/DataFiles/Leaflets/WABCOPAC.pdf. Happy Thanksgiving, Andy

If in HO scale, I’d go with Tichy parts. Being plastic, they are inexpensive. Buy some suitable brass wire for the brake rodding and air pipes.
