How’d you insert that picture? Makes it very clear. Thanks! Think I’ll stick with the 7 gal tank which should give me a night’s work anyway. Guys on here have made it sound very do-able which takes the cost of a compressor out of the calculation and saves me a bunch o’ $$$, especially since I can fill it in a few minutes for hours of painting. This is all new to me so any money saving shortcuts are very welcome. Thsnks for your input. Paul D.
Paul D:
Here is a detailed explanation of how to post a picture to a thread. If you are at all computer savy this ‘how to’ will bore you to death, and it is a bit outdated (posted in 2010). There are much simpler explanations for those wise in the workings of computing, but I came up with this a while ago for those like me who are total dinosaurs when it comes to IT.

Mike, Frank, Bob, Dave. Don’t know if you’re still getting notified of activity on this thread, but wanted to say thanks again for the great input. I’m in business. Huge success. Wish there was an easy way to send a pic. Captain Quick Connect.

T’anks . . . Really pleased with the outcome. Genuinely appreciate your help. Yeah, I’m a nut about clean up. Will be working in my basement with a utility sink nearby, and already bought a few small buckets to immerse & scrub the equipment. Expect to be working with acrylics so clean up should be easy. I’m new to this so will practice with plain water until I get the hang of the right strokes & pressures before wasting a lot o’ paint. Thanks, friend. Captain Q C.
Paul - how to post a pic on the forums.
-
You’ll need someplace to host your pics. I have a www.photobucket.com account, there are other free sites as well.
-
Upload your photo(s).
-
Copy the [IMG] tag from the hosting site
-
Paste the [IMG] tag in your post. You may paste more than one in your post. I suggest putting each on a new line.
That’s all there is to it. Also:
How to make a live link (as I did above):
-
Type out the www address.
-
Click and highlight the text for the address.
-
Up above, you’ll see an icon resembling a short piece of chain. Click it to create a “link”.
You can set a couple options in the pop up window, I usually set links to open in a new tab/window. You can leave them alone if you aren’t familiar with them.
Brad
Thanks, Brad & Dave
