I’ve decided to purchase an airbrush. After much research and comparison shopping I’ve decided to go with the Badger Model 200-NH
My questions are concerning air consumption.
My layout is located on my third floor this is also where I do the building and modeling. I already have a compressor it is a 150 psi 90 gal. shop compressor it is located in my basement. Bringing it up to the third floor is not an option, and I’d really rather not do my structure and model building in the basement (too much up and down to verify dimentions and fit checking on the layout) I’ve thought about running a line up to the third floor but that would be a major PITA (and probably my last choice if I become desperate! ) I think my answer is an air caddy. Sears sells a tank that you fill with your compressor and then you can keep it in your trunk if you ever need air on the road for a slow leak or something like that.
The tank is 5 gal. in capacity and has a max. pressure rating of 135psi
would this be sufficient to run the air brush for a practical amount of time, or would I be filling it every 15 min. ? I guess I should ask how long would this tank supply the airbrush in continuous use ?
Any input would be appreciated, Thanks.
