I use 91% Isopropyl Alcohol and a soft toothbrush to remove paint from cars. Model Railroader uses Scalecoat II to remove paint. There is a video showing this process. Look for “How to strip paint from plastic models” By Sammi DiVito. Just soak, brush, brush again if needed, and wash thoroughly.
