Alaska Railroad offers state fair train
This is an excellent; and timely idea! A scenic and comfortable ride at a great price. Rail fare for less than the price for parking. As a former Alaskan I say “Well done ARR!”
Texas used to have STATE FAIR trains…rode a SANTE FE train r/t from PARIS TX TO STATE FAIR IN DALLAS…Departed from downtown PARIS. Train was on the fair grounds, no extra travel to or from…train was sold out.
