Can I control the sound cars with a Cab-1 Remote, while they are part of a nonTMCC consist? Instructions don’t say anything, I thought they might have a seperate id #. Thanks
Don : it’s been my experience that, at least with the TMCC aquarium cars & TMCC caboose, that you really can’t control anything with the cab 1 on them in conventional mode. Those are cars from the 90s, not sure about the newer ones though. I believe with DCS, you can maybe control more features in conventional. Thanks, John
I have an REX-16649 from 1992. It just responds to the whistle control like a traditional locomotive. I don’t remember whether it has a bell sound.
