So I settled on Byron Hendersons Alcove layout design… Only thing is, to get the setup that I liked I had to flip it and lay it out backwards from the original picture. Here it is
Any thoughts. I like the setup I have. There is room for some industrial structures. But it seems there will still be alot of space left over. Any opinions.

Remember that a railroad actually takes up very little space on the face of the terrain it passes through, unless you are modeling just a large yard. Think about off line businesses that could be served by a team track. Service stations, department stores, local hardware stores, office buildings are all in the area, as are open spaces. Don’t try to cram to much into your space or it will look cluttered.
