Aleen's Original Tacky Glue Question

Hello all how would I get dried tacky glue off an HO engine shell? I had glued a little piece of paper.On my Ho F40PH shell I had use basically elmers glue one I used was called. Aleens original tacky glue what can I use to get the dried glue off of my Ho F40PH shell? Hope you can help Thanks Cheer’s

See If you can gently chip it off with toothpicks or sharpened wooden matches, not steel tools. You could soak a piece of tissue and lay it on the glue a few hours to soften it first.That’s how I’d start. Dan

I painted this shell with water based paint to if,I soak the shell in hot/warm water will the pain come off?

If it’s water-based acrylic paint, such as Pollyscale, the water will have no effect on the paint dried paint. If it’s water-based craft paint, water may remove the paint.
