I decided to do a little railfanning yestarday, started at 6:30am and by 1pm ended up in East Deerfield, Ma… not knowing that there was a coal train ( excuse me 2) on the way. One was empty & the other was from the west heading ot the yard. I didn’t know this until people started showing up at the bridge there… and I know now I have to do alot of catching up in the railfanning department!!![8D]
but here are the photos from Deerfield

HEy thanks Ben,
Not bad for a guy with a little digi cam!! The guys that I met there, have their stuff together!!! I mean I learned some stuff from them on what to do about railfanning!!! Looks like the main thing is to be ORGANIZED!!! ALL cool guys & we all have posting our pics so it was fun to check out what the others took…
I know I need a bigger camera!! LOL
Mike
Excellent pics Mike. Looking at that white NS unit, I can see the meaning of the phrase “life imitates art”![;)]
Think I might be doing more modeling of Guilford. The one railfan I met yestarday, made a good point & said that Guilford uses so much older power that it makes it fun to model & he has a point!!!
