I just recieved and finished watching this excellent video on train layout and construction. It is a beautiful example ot train “art”. This video has impressive examples of real trains next to Rich’s trains and you almost cannot tell the difference between the two. I found Rich’s website on Frank53’s links page on his website. I am glad I did because this video is very informative on the how to create an impressive train layout and Rich makes it look easy. Thanks Rich.

My son and I have been enjoying our 2 train sets now for a couple of years. I bought the Union Pacific Fast Freight set and the Santa Fe El Capitan set and we have been enjoying them but we have grown tired of just watching our trains traveling in circles. Right now we have a 4 X 8 layout with 2 levels with the lower level having an inside loop connected to the outer loop. It is nice for the small area we have to use but going in circles is getting old so I am going to try to change things up and this video gives simple explanations out how to create something unique.

I give this video 2 thumbs up.

I totally agree with that. I bought it also and enjoyed it. Lots of good stuff.

It is one of the few model train DVDs that I own and it is really good to see new ideas for the layout.

Well I just bought this DVD. Looks very interesting. I am still in the process of building my layout so this will be a big help hopefully. I have seen previews of it on the website. I will give review after I have seen the dvd. :slight_smile:

Black Diamond, you will not be disappointed. Money well spent. I have already watched it twice to soak in all it has to offer on ideas and methods. I recieved my dvd 3 days after I placed the order.
