If you’re looking for track plans for O,. O27, S, G, Standard gauge, HO, N ot TT, stop by the All Gauge Page listed in my signature below. I will be adding more plans in a few months. Progress was halted last year when I got sick, so we only have about 400 plans up.
I’ll attest to the value of Thor’s pages. I recently had the opportunity to augment my O-Gauge model railroading with a 9 x 6 Standard Gauge layout. During my planning, I took many long hard looks at the Standard Gauge layouts on Thor’s pages.
While I did not end up using any one particular layout, it’s fair to say that they all had an influence and I appreciated the thought invested in them.

Thor, we’ve been sending folks to your site from over here all through the holidays. Newcomers with questions on designing layouts… There were many thanks and many folks appreciated the wealth of info you have.
Thor, I used to spend hours looking at track plan books, I still like to study them to think about how I would run them /change them if they were mine. Thanks for the link. JIM
Great to see you over here Thor[:)]! I used one of your plans for my Christmas layout this past year. A great site with a wealth of information for TOY TRAINS!!!
I hope the ticker is doing well!
I used the free services of a guy on this forum. Will not use his name as you may inundate him with requests. Outsatnding work. Fitted my room with perfect layout of excellance. Thanks “Mystery Man”.
You’re welcome, folks. I’m glad you’re enjoying the site. More will be coming in the next few months - including some mini-layout plans that ought to prove interesting.

Thor-
A few years ago I bookmarked your site. I enjoy it as much today as I did the first time I went there. Thank you.
Possibly the best comprehensive toy train site on the 'net!
Still catching up from being away on vacation but felt I must add my thanks as well. After reading a couple of issues of Classic Toy Trains magazines and readinging “Getting Started with Lionel Trains”, I turned to the web for track plan sites and Thor’s was the first I came up with. Bookmarked it after two minutes. At the time I was doubtful O gauge toy trains truly could be enjoyed on a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood. Thor’s site and track plans convinced me it could be done. My layout is one of Thor’s.
Many thanks,
Steve

Very fascinating! Have bookmarked this page! How can I send you
some more plans? I have about 60+ years worth of layout plans of
mine, my father’s and my grandfather’s if you are interested.
Thanks!
