I’ve never been to the First Frost Meet. I’m looking to get a “G” scale starter set. Would I have a good chance there ? Will it make a big difference whether I go Saturday or Sunday ? Anyone close to Reading going up? Thanks, Dave
I’ve been to these shows. I’m not sure about the G-scale selection, I’m in HO. Last couple of times I was there, the prices were pretty good. The only real complaint I have about the show is the very narrow isles. Sorta gives you the feel for what sardines in a can go through! And try to get there early…or you will end up parking at the other end of the fairgrounds.
Yeah, if it weren;t for the fact that it is the biggest local show, I wouldn’t go - I really have a strong dislike for the organizers, they have more space but STILL do things the same old dumb way. But,t hey have a monopoly… don’t care for the way they treat tableholders, either.
Even so, I’ll be there Sunday. We usually go Saturday but have a lot of painting around the house to do. So Sunday it is. First time on a Sunday for me.
