I would like to rearrange a section of track on my HO layout may problem is how do I desovle the 50-50 elamers glue and water that is holding the balast together?
Soak it with water. Elmer’s is not waterproof and soaking will dissolve the glue.
This is easy… .just spray enough water to soak it and let it sit. Then, lift it right up. More soaking and water and scrubbing with a toothbrush will get all the ballast out from between the ties. [:)]
