Hi, I picked up the set of four flat cars Menards has out there for $7.99 each thinking they were a great deal for the price. When I got them home and tried to use them I found the couplers will not hook together because of plastic left over from the mold causing interference. I had to make clearanced with a dremel tool for them to work.

Am I the only one??

Kevin…I have purchased cheap cars from other sources in the past and had several problems, one of which you have described. I also have had trucks attached to the frame so tightly they would not pivot around a curve.
