I’m not sure if we’re allowed to mention the competition here but it looks like Trains and Railfan&Railroad picked almost identical photos of the Amador Central in recent months. March 2004 Trains pp 32-33 and April 2004 R&R p 35 both show the same overpass across Hwy 88.
And since I’m missing my Erik and Mike fix this week, I’ll vote on these pictures instead. The Trains picture is better composed, better lit, and supports its story better so I’ll go with it.
