New Walther’s Catalog:
Pg 340: 48 star (683-948) and 50 star (683-950) (3 pks) by Stewart Products ($6.95)
Pg 372: 48 star (200-931) by Highball ($4.49)
They also have flag decals if you want to make your own poles.
Good luck,
Thank you
I’m going to my LHS today and will check the Catalog there
Don’t forget to get the correct number of stars!
Ok i finished the pole and found a decal of a flag
The one in the Walthers cat. is paper and straight which is ok if the wind is blowing 50 mph

If you have a color printer there is a really simple way to make and effective flag.
Find a photo of a suitable flag on the web (Google images works great for this)
Dump the photo into something basic like Paint.
Invert the image 180 degrees horizontally.
Paste the inverted image as a mirror image to the original. Leave some space between them for the pole.
Size accordingly and print.
Carefully cut out and wrap the image around your flag pole and glue the mirror images back to back.

Here is my ballroom topping flag created in just that way. Its great because you can easily re-create the partially furled look from a photo.
Nice Job Simon [bow]
Actually, it only takes about 10 kts of wind to make a flag stand out like that. Just make sure that anything else you have that might be affected by the wind - streamers, other flags, photoshopped smoke on your steamers or diesels - is blowing the same direction. [;)]

I had an idea. Take an old 60mm or maybe larger computer fan and place it in an adjacent structure so that it blew in the direction of the flag. Just a thought.
