I’m looking for a HO models of Agence Métropolitaine de Transport’s (Montreal Transpotation Agency) Bombardier Single Level Passenger Cars. 24 were built in 1989 for AMT.
They are similar to NJ Transit’s Comet II series.
Although Walthers calls them Horizon cars, they are very close to the NJT Comet II cars with a somewhate simplified undercarraige. You’ll need to detail, paint & decal yourself, but the basics are there.
Always good to hear there are others out there who model Canadian commuter operations, cheers mate!
Bwilcox is right, the Walthers Horizon cars are your best bet, however these seem to be produced pretty much by whim at Walthers. Throughout the 1990s they were quite common at hobby shops but lately they seem to be retired one week only to be in stock the next, oi.
Also is that an F40PH powering that AMT train? If so is it ex-GO Transit or did AMT buy their own?
Thanks again.
There is one F40PH. It is an ex-Amtrak leasd from Rail World.
Other locos are F40PHR’s, GP9u’s, and F59PHI’s.
There are MU Trailer and Motor Cars on the Deux - Montagnes Line. (It is electrified)
