Amtrak Autumn Excursions sell out
Finally! Some Amtrak action in my neck of the woods!
Tried but failed to buy seats on this two years running, couldn’t get thru !!! sold out in under an hour !!!
Skunked again. This is the second year I didn’t make it. I hope they do it again next year.
If these excursions are so popular, maybe they should run more of them. I might even ride one if I could get tickets.
On October 4, I went to Philly for some rail fanning. At the 30th. Street Station, I went to the information booth to find out when the Autumn Express was going to run. A woman there said that the train was sold out. At that time, I didn’t think anything about it. However, when I found out when the tickets were to go on sale. I was angry. I don’t know why that woman would say something like that! This is the second year in a row that I was shut out. Why?
