Amtrak California Cars of Surfliner Route

Hi from England [:)], I’ve seen pictures of Amtraks California cars that are used on the Capitol’s and San Joaquins being used on the Surfliner run.

When were they last used on this route or are they still used in the case of equipment breakdown of Surfliner breakdown.

You might want to ask this question over at the SoCal forum. There are many members there that see these trains all the time. There is even a dispacher for this line on that forum.
