Amtrak #1100 is a centre cab switcher working at Beech Grove.
Can anyone give me particulars on this unit & how many other
similar switchers does Amtrak have. None of the Amtrak rosters
show these units.
I should have mentioned, I noticed picture of this switcher
in a recent article by Jack Turner on TRAINWEB.
You might try looking at rrpicturearchives.net for some Amtrak info.
I believe they list that unit as a 25 ton engine.
