But the towns won’t remember BNSF halting trains for the emergency vehicles. What they’ll remember is a couple years from now when a loaded city bus crosses the tracks without stopping for the signals or when a train stops an ambulance responding to a nearby car accident and then still give the railroad a bad rap. But good for BNSF at least doing the right thing and trying to help. Very nicely detailed article too BTW.
