I just posted this on the Trains board, but maybe not everyone reads all of the boards.
I just returned from travelling on the Amtrak Empire Builder. As you may have read, this train was the first to be equipped with the newly refurbished Superliner equipment and they appear to have come up with a new version of the paint scheme. It appears they have used the Phase 4 striping, but the large word “Superiliner” in script across the middle of the car isn’t there. Instead, the word “Superliner” is in small block type at both ends, the car type is to the left of the door, and the new Amtrak logo is to the right of the door.
Time for the decal companies to come up with a new one.
Also, for you interior detaillers, the interior of the Cafe-Lounge has been changed. One of the ends on the upper level now has table seating, much like the lower level.
