Amtrak Puzzle

Amtak started on May 1, 1971. I came across the list of the 20 railroads that joined Amtrak and I thought I’d throw this on the forum to see who can list some of them WITHOUT LOOKING IT UP !
CRI&P, CSS&SB, D&RGW, Georgia, Reading and Southern are not on the list.
The first 10 or so should be pretty easy.

PC=NYC-PRR-NYNH&H, BN= GN-NP-SP&S-CB&Q-C&S-FW&D, Milwauke Road, SP/T&NO, UP, MP/T&P, AT&SF, SCL, IC, GTW, GM&O, C&O/B&O, E-L, KCS, CV, L&N, N&W, NKP.
Thats all I can think of off the top of my head at 8:15 AM on the right coast. Maybe with a little more coffee and more aspirin can think of the rest.

I can think of some. I think that B&M and CV still had NYC to Montreal trains. I am not sure if they quit before '71.

There was no NY-Montreal train via New England in 1971. The B&M, CV and New Haven jointly ran “The Montrealer” until 1966. It was restored by Amtrak in 1972 but nowadays it terminates at St. Albans and is called The Vermonter.
