Amtrak releases podcast for Texas Eagle route

A great way for people who aren’t rail fans our history buffs to learn about both on their trip…hopefully Amtrak can continue this for more routes

It is a good way to learn about the trip, but maybe the printed copies should be available on the train route not just though Texas A&M. Not everyone necessarily has the latest electronic devices you mention and maybe the people traveling don’t have a computer to request a printed copy–Yes there are people that don’t have the latest electronic devices (or really needs to spend the money to spend on the item or the service) and maybe don’t have computer readily available

What a wonderful service by Amtrak !! They did not have to do this. They are a great company-- especially considering all of the hassels they face from politicians who want to yank their gov’t funding. Unbelievable.

If you were lucky enough to ride Amtrak with the late Curtis Katz as your car attendant you usually received a travelog as you traversed the rails.
