Amtrak is detouring several trains over Tehachapi in the next few days. I’ll be there tomarow and hopefully will catch one or both [;)].

Due to track work being performed by Union Pacific Railroad, Trains 11 and 14 will operate on an alternate route between Los Angeles and Sacramento and will not stop at the following stations on November 8, 10, 12 and 14. Van Nuys, Simi Valley, Oxnard, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, Salinas, San Jose, Oakland, Emeryville, Martinez and Davis This temporary change affects Train 11 originating in Seattle on November 7, 9, 11 and 13.
