I just heard on the local news that an amtrak talgo train slipped of the tacks while going through a switch near the station. Nobody was hurt but a lot of passengers were mad.

Maybe the switch was thrown the wrong way; however that doesn’t sound like what it seems. http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=156389. It looks like the train just jumped the track.
