Madge and I leave Jacksonville, FL tomorrow night on the Silver Star for the Big Apple. We will leave New York City on December 31st on the Silver Meteor. Will post some comments about the quality of the ride, the new food service routines and the quality of service after we get back. Hope everyone had a Blessed Christmas and wishing for all the best for everyone in 2008.

Most definitely we are going sleeper. I gave up on coach back in 1970 when I discovered the joy, peace, and privacy of roomettes on the old 10-6’s and the Slumber Coaches when the budget was tight.
