Good reporting TRAINS…once again. By my calculation the train will now layover in Brunswick for 3’25" not the previous 5’30"…That appears to be shorter…not longer. Then again…maybe “less is more”
Most people ride Boston to Portland and most of the trips are on that section. I imagine that having one trainset spending less time sitting in Brunswick will allow it to augment the sitting between other runs.
Possibly a little off topic:
How does the Downeaster enter / exit the “Portland Transportation Center”? Is a reversing move involved?
