A work train pushed by an Amtrak RS3 - June 1978. This is in Linden, NJ… anyone able to tell me anything about this car?
It looks like a heavily modified and de-motored MP54 MU car.
I saw it from time to time in 70s when I commuted on the North Jersey Coast Line. It was used to repair or change out the overhead wires[:)]
