I don’t know if this has been posted before, but I ran across this interview on the Aristo-Craft site. I remember visiting Polk Hobbies in Manhattan when I lived in New York as a youngster:
I went there once when I was a kid a gozillion years a go. Man what a place off the hook, I didn’t know they were still in business I may have to make an exception and go to NYC.
It was 6 floors as I remember…full of everything and anything you could imagine. I’d spend most of the day there. A person could get lost in there.
