Announcement. New Service.

Heartland Division is pleased to announce its new dedicated piggyback train with daily schedules to serve Heartland, Blackhawk, Prairie View, Roundup, and Heyday.

The SD-7’s hogger, Ima Hogg, has his hand on his throttle with his train under way. The first carload is emerging from under the highway bridge in West Blackhawk.

Wow, that’s what I call bringin’ home the bacon! Not to start a political rant, but doesn’t the commercial sector do a better job than those pork-filled government projects?

Makin bacon![:D] I always liked that Burlington paint scheme.

[#ditto]on the paint scheme. Did you paint it yerself?

Thanks for looking. I’m in one of those goofy moods if you can forgive me for that.

No, P2K painted it. I’ve painted some units that color, but not this one.

By the way, Engineer, Ima Hogg, whistles while he works.

Great photo. Did you know that Ima Hogg (1882-1975) was the daughter of Texas Governor James Hogg? I wonder if the engineer is related?

Yes, mojax you caught me. His other daughter was Ura. That explains why this Ima whistles while he works. [:-^] I’m going to have to stop having these goofy moods. They cause trouble. [:)]

P.S. To stay out of more trouble I’ll get off the computer and hustle my caboose to the model train room.
