I’m going all out to report this. I haven’t found any news on it over the internet, just saw the preperation myself.
So I go to Mundelein, Illinois to catch the Last Metra Inbound for the day (excluding the one that transfers over to the MDN) and I notice paint on some spikes. I think they’re going to put new spikes in. But when I call a good freind and tell him about it, he says they’re going to put in new ties in. I also noted the rails on the side of the tracks and he said they’re gonna put new rails in too. Can’t wait to actually see it in action (I hope)
