Although I model in HO now, in the early 60’s as a youngster it was Lionel. My loco was the Lionel GG1 in dark green. I believe it had 2 motors and seemed very heavy at the time.
My question is: I ran the engine on regular Lionel 3 rail track. Could this engine have been powered from above or was this just for show?
