ANOTHER HISTORIC STATION SAVED!

The Pere Marquette Station located in Clare, Mi. has been saved from the wrecking ball! [:D]They are currently looking for RR Artifacts from any RR, and as soon as I find a contact I will pass along the info for anyone who may be interested in the preservation process.

The Station is located on the diamond shared by the original owners of the tracks, the Ann Arbour RR and the Pere Marquette RR. This location is just west of downtown. They then run west on opposing sides of US-10 into Farwell, Mi. where they once again split apart. There is still hope my freinds.[:)]

It is always nice to hear of a piece of history saved, especially when it is railroad history. [:)]

If you can post a photo of it that certainly would be nice. [;)]

Here are some pictures of the afore mentioned RR Station. The first are recent pictures and the later are what the Station should soon be restored to.
