Hi all, just wanna share some of my layout progress with ya. Just got done wiring my blocks on the main 4’x8’ layout, wanna give a shout out to all who helped me with my wiring and switch insulating problems ( Texas Zepher, JoeinPA ,gmpullman , dante and anyone i might have forgot ) thanks to all! Started laying track today on the 2’x6’ wharf and industrial area and ordered some TORTISE switch machines.well here are some pics of my progress ( I hope ) thanks for looking and feel free to comment.[:D]

It looks like you have made a good start. Your bench work looks solid and your control panel looks good. Did you elect not to use a preformed roadbed for your main line or are you going to taper the homasote for the ballast shoulders? Keep us up to date on your progress.

Looks like fun. Nicely built too.
Just an observation: Looks like the first picture shows some pretty steep grades and one, maybe two curved turnouts. Be sure everything operates well before you get too far along.
Perhaps the angle of the photo makes things look steeper than it is.
Looks like the Jerome & Southwestern lives! John Olson would be proud.
