Just found out the Bachmann three truck Climax is on shelves.

Another HO logging engine, Well, now the spending starts.
Will definitely get a couple of these. I have to assume that Bachmann corrected the plastic gear splitting problems of their earlier Climaxes and Shays.
I do have a few of their Shays and never had a problem with any of mine. I know others did. Have not heard of problems with the later produced Shays. At least with Bachmann you can get a replacement engine should problems occur. That is as long as the item is still in production. Also NWSL did produce replacement gears for the Shays and as I understand it are working on gears for the earlier Climaxes as well.
